Comment

In the RAAF for three years before joining Essendon
Essendon FC has Bradley as "then went to Camberwell as captain-coach in 1952 and 1953", but this appears to be incorrect.3

LEAGUE FOOTBALLERS OF 1950 - WING MEN -Percy Taylor

Argus 10-Jun 1950 p7 Weekend Magazine

BOB BRADLEY, who was recruited in 1947 from the North Essendon Methodists-the same team that has produced Greg Tate, Noel Allanson, and Allan Thaw -has been a consistent player with the club, except that he has not yet shown his best form this season.

Fairly solidly built, Bob is the hard working type, and is a particularly good mark for his inches- he is 5ft. 9in. He has tons of determination, and has the happy knack of fighting on for the ball. If he has a fault it is that he sometimes turns back into trouble, and has difficulty in getting rid of the ball.

Bob has played 48 games, was recently married, and is employed in the city with a typewriter firm.
