LEAGUE FOOTBALLERS OF 1950 -WING HALF-FORWARDS By PERCY TAYLOR

Argus 15-Jul-1950 P10
BOB MCKENZIE, Melbourne's wing half-forward, had the unusual experience of going into the senior side straight from the third eighteen. More important is that he has justified the faith placed in him. He has remarkable pace and dash, is a clever ball handler, and is a deadly kick on the run. This is his third season, and he has already played for Victoria.

Bob, who is married, is a fairly new father. He previously played cricket in the summer, but now relaxes so that he will re-enter football with zest and enthusiasm.

Melbourne have now placed Len Dockett on the other side, but he has previously been discussed as a wing player.
