LEAGUE FOOTBALLERS OF 1950 -HALF-BACK FLANKERS By PERCY TAYLOR

Argus 24-Jun-1950 p14 The Argus Week-End Magazine

THE mercurial JIMMY CLARK, who shines on the other flank, came from Elmore. He served his apprenticeship as a railway fitter, but is now advertising manager of an Australia-wide firm.

This Jim played his first senior game in 1943, and had completed 126 games at the end of last season. He has tremendous pace and dash he won the 75 yards sprint at Stawell at the same time that Baird was competing there.

He is married, with one child, and also lives in Parkville.
