LEAGUE FOOTBALLERS OF 1950-WING MEN By PERCY TAYLOR

Argus 17-Jun-1950 P7

TED JACKSON came from Echuca, and, after a period of trial with the seconds, had his first game on the wing for Melbourne in 1947. His tally of games up to the end of last season was 39.

Ted's chief assets are his long, loping stride, and his extraordinary proficiency in ball handling. His work in the crushes is admirable, and He seems to have the ball on a string. " He is also a good kick, with tons of nip and dash.
He is married, and is employed in the Railways Department.
